whether a guy have to do md degree in medical science in india before doing dm degree wat is the eligibility.?

i want 2 know the basic difference between the 2 degrees as in india
Answers:
For DM you need(2yr): An undergraduate MBBS degree(4.5+1yr)
A post graduate MD degree(3 yr)
However certain institutions provide a direct DM degree- an integrated 5 year course. eg NIMHANS
