Which branch of medicine studies and treats tumours?
Answers:
Oncology is the field of medicine that deals with the study and surgical or non-surgical therapy of "tumours"- commonly called "cancer" or "growth" as cancer which is scientifically termed Neoplasia .
The word "oncology" means the study of tumors. The word comes from the Greek "o(n)glos" which means (a bulk or mass/a tumor) + "logos" which means (a study or treatise), thus making word to mean the study of tumors.
