Any of the University of California schools should offer both degrees and have great extra curricular activities. Likewise for Cal State schools. I'm partial to Stanford, a private school. They have great educational programs, as well as activities. It's expensive and very selective, but if you are selected, they have great scholarship support and grants. For Florida, as in Cal, try the University of Florida system as well as the State system. Both are very highly regarded.
