which are the most important statistics for you?

what statistics? For male or female?
Or did u mean parametric and non parametric? Well it depends on the design. But my personal choice would be to collect data with interval or ratio levels of measurement, so that both my independent and dependent variables are continuous and therefore I dont loose vital statistics, sorry vital information
