which classof usually treat people who are suffering from phobias?

Answers:
There is an entire grouping of people who can help with these problems. Psychiatrists, who are medical doctors, are the ones who would prescribe medication to help you deal with your phobia. Psychologists, social workers, licensed clinical social workers, pastoral counselors, psychiatric nurses, psychotherapists, hypnotherapists; all of these can also help you. My personal recommendation would be someone who is licensed in hypnotherapy, as well as being licensed in their particular area of mental health .
There are also nurse practitioners and physician's assistants who are beginning to come into the psychiatric field, who can prescribe medications and treat patients with phobias.
Psychologist or psychiatrist
a clinical psychologist can usually help people with phobias
PSYCHOLOGISTS OR PSYCHIATRISTS.take your pick.
If one wants to be treated by a medical doctor he or she should contact a psychiatrist, otherwise a clinical psychologist will do.
